In Foot Specialties, you'll find basic information on some of the more common foot ailments encountered in our practice. Please note this a very short list and it is extremely possible that your specific foot or ankle problem is not included on it.

We accept a wide array of insurance carriers. In an effort to reduce or eliminate any out of pocket expense, we recommend you contact our office by phone or e-mail, and our insurance coordinator will be happy to personally explain your foot care coverage with you.

Doctor's tip of the month:

Cut your toenails straight across so that the corner of the
nail is visible above the skin.
If your trimming removes nail all the way to the nail-fold corner, the skin might grow to encroach upon the space where the nail usually extends. This can get an ingrown nail started. Use clippers designed to cut toenails.
